Who doesn't love Disney and who doesn't love Mickey? Every one gets a huge throwback to their childhood when Mickey Mouse is in the building or when you're at Disneyland itself and the inner child is coming back no matter what age you are. That's exactly how I feel everytime I am at the parc in Paris and this weekend I had this feeling a little closer by home at Maasmechelen Village.

The Village close to the border of the Netherlands (Maastricht) is a Designer Outlet with more than 50stores. Think about Armani, Bash, Supertrash, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Wolford,... Name and they have it! Also the brand Coach, well known for their leather classic bags, has an outlet store in the Village and has since friday the 28th of April an exclusive Disney Collection in store that I could discover last weekend. With a mix of clutches, wallets, cross body bags and backpacks, the collection is quite complete. My most favorite is the reversible tote. You can choose for the scarf print in red or go for the black plain side. How amazing is that? If I wasn't sick home and had the budget, this one came home with me for sure! And I also love the bag with the Mickey ears on in black. #aaarghh

For the collection the designers found their inspiration in the sixties and seventies. They've decorated each bag with an iconic Mickey Mouse figure: the skater, classic Mickey, the shy one or Mickey on his bike. The bags themselves are made out of 'Glove teint leather'. It's a very soft leather and perfectly fits the designs. I was fan!

Once I fell in love with the collection at Coach, I went for a coffee break at Le Pain Quotidien. Had a waffle with strawberries and chocolate to get some shopping fuel and walked through the other boutiques in the village. After shopping I ended the day with a dinner in Ellis Gourmet Burger and stayed at the Terhills Hotel which is only 2minutes walking from the Outlet. I will tell you more about that stay later. On Sunday I had the opportunity to meet the artist OLI-B who is currently adding some amazing colors on the clock towers of the village and will be staying there untill the 30th of August to complete the art work. I love the bright colors he used and it makes me think of Spain during summer. I'm sure the results will be amazing once the whole Village is finished.

For now: if you're a Disney fan and can't wait to get your hands on one of the bags: go as soon as possible to the Village as they're selling quite fast and I totally understand why!
